Title says it all. The paper feels wonderful to write on and doesn't allow the in to bleed through. The sizing is great for a personal journal or idea book. 4 stars only because I haven't used it long enough to see how well it holds up over time.
I'll keep this short. This little notebook is made from high quality paper, no bleed-through, no ghosting, and pleasant line width. It is close to perfection for a very affordable price.
These Clairefontaine 1951 notebooks are my personal standard for fountain pen use. Clairefontaine makes some of the best, most consistent, FP-friendly paper out there, and Iāve burned through more of these books than I can count.
The product description incorrectly lists (as of the writing of this review) that the pages are perforated, but they actually are not. However, Iām not a child and this isnāt my first rodeo; Iām familiar with the product (itās pretty standard/ubiquitous in the pen world), and Iām not pulling out the pages to turn in my geometry homework on ā though even if I was, Iām sure I could figure out at least a few ways to neatly tear a sheet. It wouldnāt be the end of the world, ya know?
All said, itās a pretty inexpensive product, and everything else about my shopping experience with Truphae was terrific, so Iām not gonna turn in a snotty, negative review over one small typo on the product listing page :D
